Why is this so difficult? Is there something I'm missing? It's been less than a day and I'm already ready to convert back. I've been ramming my head against the wall to do this for an hour- on an android phone it would be as simple as downloading the. I've tried using older versions of iTunes but for some ungodly reason it installs as 32 bit (even though its the 64 bit installer and I'm on a 64 bit machine) and won't recognize my phone. Every time I plug it back in, the tones tab of my phone is empty. I'm supposed to be able to manually add it, which I can, but when I sync and unplug the phone, it doesn't show up. But they've removed the tones section in the latest iTunes. So I look up about it, you need to use iTunes (ugh) and convert the file to AAC and then to.
